A wooden cigar box from Honduras transformed into glass treasure box
...the outside is painted in metallic gold and encrusted in recycled rolled glass in shades of blue & gray; silver & gold bells are used for the handle that will pull the lid out; the top's centerpiece is a Queen Ann's lace (a flower abundant in Michigan) & more glass this time with some turquoise ones; inside is painted in a metallic blue and the bottom is lined with hand embossed copper, recycled blue glass and petals from flowers much cherished. (note: Each one is different on the outside but all the insides are the same, kind of like us)
